Costumes:)
i sooooo luv clothes, so finding out that today's class was on costuming and scenery was a lil treat for me....the thing is, i was thinking lets just put the character into something that is appealing to the scene that they are in, and for heaven's sake it better be cute, type of thing...clearly i couldn't have been so off(well, not too much)....through this lesson and reading, i found out that when you get this part of a performance together you don't even get to just focus on what type of clothes to get, you need to make sure that they are "easy" to get on and off...you need to have special helpers in order to make that quick change backstage, i found that interesting because i starting thinking of how they do the same thing in fashion shows....but i'm getting off the topic, so anyways, another thing that goes into this whole clothing and scene decision is how well will it reflect with the lights....will we understand the mood and what that character is trying to portray.......and then there is how well does the image of the character fit in with everyone else(and thing) on stage in their clothing and does the scene fit too......good lesson and fun topic, i give it 5 stars...lol:)
